The Incredible FRANS ZWOLS Racing Pigeons
This family of racing pigeons have literally taken the UK by storm since there introduction and 2023 has been no exception, winning at all levels of National competition, SNFC.. NFC.. BICC.. BBC.. NIPA.. One Loft Racing…etc, I was one of the fortunate fanciers who had some of the early introductions into the UK alongside Stuart Wilcox and John Gladwin & John Cowlin.
Highlight of the 2023 season… John Hill, Wigan wins 2nd Section, 2nd Open Midlands National Flying Club Carentan 298 miles; 2799 birds with a Frans Zwols cock bred here at Kingsway Lofts UK, and the dam of his 3rd Section Midlands National Flying Club Weymouth, the dam was also bred here at Kingsway Lofts UK.
The first six pigeons imported and selected by Frans Zwols basically formed the foundation of this ultra successful family of pigeons...

These great pigeons originating from my lofts dominated the Fife Federation for three seasons winning 20x1st Federation winners, and breaking Federation records in that time with numerous multi-drops of up to 15 pigeons come to win 1st Open Federation.
At National level these Frans Zwols have won 1st Open National 445 miles, 1st Open National 372 miles, 2nd Open National 393 miles, 2nd Open National 308 miles, 2nd Open National 298 miles, 7th Open National 352 miles; 8th Open National 284 miles; 10th Open National 458 miles; 10th Open National 308 miles; 11th Open National 308 miles; 16th Open National 445 miles; 17th Open National 445 miles; 17th Open National 308 miles; 18th Open National 308 miles; 21st Open National 445 miles; 21st Open National 308 miles; 10 x 1st Section SNFC/SNRPC, 2nd Section MNFC, 3rd Section MNFC, etc... over a staggering 100 Open National Diplomas won at National level have been won with pigeons originating from my back garden stock loft, in 2017 these Frans Zwols were crowned 3rd GENERAL CHAMPION GOLDEN DUIF UK & Republic of Ireland.

This fantastic family of Frans Zwols are now responsible for winning 1st Federation in NINE different Scottish Federations, from stock bred at my lofts!
During seasons 2022/2023 an opportunity arose to race my young pigeons in one of the largest Federations in the UK/Europe from the loft of Barclay McCrindle & Son, Shotts who race with the mighty Lanarkshire Federation.
A selection of young birds from my Frans Zwols, Herman Ceusters and Jan Hooymans were tested there, and along with Barclay’s own pigeons they won the Federation Young Bird Averages both seasons, for these results:

A staggering 164 Open Federation positions were won 2022/2023 YB Season, of which 99 were bred here including 26 pigeons that were timed to win the Lanarkshire Federation and timesd on the multi-drop with the Lanarskhire Federation winners, winners of Lanarkshire Federation YB Averages 2022/2023, making it three consecutive season for Barclay McCrindle & Son, 13x1st federation wins from 19 races.
The SNRPC Young Bird 1st Section winner was a young Frans Zwols hen, and a g’dtr of the Tip Top Pair.
