Lee had built a fantastic setup in his back garden where his journey began. He was racing a small team of young

and old birds as he only has a small garden, along with his stock birds, all comfortably housed at home. Everything

was running smoothly—until last year, when a dispute arose with a neighbour over the pigeons being kept in the

back garden, too close to their property. The council got involved, and Lee was forced to remove every pigeon

from the garden, including his prized stock birds.

Faced with this challenge, Lee relocated to his allotment plot. There, he had to start from scratch—rebuilding

sheds and trying to piece together a young bird team. But this came with a heavy burden. Lee had invested a

significant amount of money in stock from some of the top fanciers in the country, birds that cannot be produced

any longer!! Birds that had helped him win thousands of pounds in prize money. The thought of leaving such

valuable stock exposed on an allotment was unbearable. The risk of theft loomed large, and Lee couldn’t rest easy

knowing what was at stake.

After much deliberation, Lee made the heartbreaking decision to sell off his stock birds — the very foundation of

his success. These were the birds that had brought him countless victories: club and federation/Combine wins,

one-loft triumphs, and premier prizes. Now, until he can move to a property where pigeons can once again grace

his back garden, Lee must part with everything he worked so hard to build.

And so, someone else will now reap the rewards of Lee’s dedication—the stock he painstakingly assembled, the

bloodlines behind his wins, the champions that earned him titles like club federation winner, premier prize

winner, one-loft victor, and even semi-finalist placements. All of it, now, becomes someone else’s gain—and Lee’s

loss.
