Founded upon some of the finest KBDB and WHZB bloodlines, Excelsior Stud has been built with one clear objective: to establish a truly outstanding colony of pigeons combining elite European bloodlines with proven racing performance.
As the owner of Excelsior Pigeon and Excelsior Stud, I have had the privilege of travelling extensively, meeting some of the leading fanciers and breeders in the sport, and seeing and handling some exceptional pigeons along the way.
Over the past few years, I have carefully selected and acquired pigeons from some of the most sought-after families in European and UK pigeon racing. The result is a collection of bloodlines that represents years of investment, research and, above all, a passion for quality.

The objective now is to combine his established Kittel performance genetics with the exceptional National Ace and European bloodlines assembled at Excelsior. Most notably, Excelsior Stud secured the full sister of “KING ARTHUR” — 1st National Ace KBDB Sprint Champion 2023, specifically with future breeding plans involving TOP GUN KITTEL and other Excelsior foundation males. The aim is to take a family that has already demonstrated its ability to produce 30+ winners and combine it with some of the most powerful sprint and speed genetics available.

NIPA BK — PROVEN BREEDING POWER
Another exceptional pigeon within the Excelsior family is “NIPA BK”, a grandson of BEST KITTEL.
NIPA BK achieved:
1st Open NIPA — 6,528 birds
His influence has continued into the breeding loft, where he has already established himself as an outstanding producer, with his offspring responsible for more than 15 × 1st prizes for fanciers across the UK.
2024 — MAJOR EUROPEAN BLOODLINE INVESTMENT
In 2024, Excelsior Stud made a significant investment in strengthening the colony.
More than 20 direct Pierre Beyl pigeons were acquired to blend with the established BLIZZARD families housed at Excelsior.
A further 14 direct Patrick Boeckx “SAGAN” pigeons were also introduced.
These acquisitions were made with a long-term breeding strategy in mind: combining some of the strongest European sprint and speed genetics with the proven performance families already established at Excelsior.
2025 — EIJERKAMP & KOOPMAN GENETICS
The programme continued to develop in 2025 with the acquisition of direct offspring from Eijerkamp’s “BOR” and “ZOE”, with ZOE being:

Excelsior Stud also secured a daughter of:
“REMZI” — 1st National Ace De Allerbeste 2022/23 × “TRIPLE ONE” — 3rd National Ace Old Birds 2022
This exceptional pigeon was purchased from the C & G Koopman Total Clearance Sale for a significant sum, reflecting the quality and potential of the bloodline.
THE GOLDEN 10 — KING ARTHUR'S FULL SISTER
One of the most significant acquisitions in the history of Excelsior Stud came through the Golden 10 in Holland.
Our main target was the full sister of “KING ARTHUR”, DVD Bulck's:
1st National Ace KBDB Sprint Champion 2023
We placed an extremely high valuation on this outstanding hen and were prepared to do whatever was necessary to secure her for Excelsior Stud.
The plan was clear from the beginning: to bring this exceptional female into the UK and ultimately explore her potential when coupled with some of the finest males in the Excelsior loft.
