WEST MIDLAND WINGS – RESULTS 06/07/19 – by Sarah Carter   Hello everyone, I  hope you’ve all had a great week… and that the young birds have kept safe , out of troubles and being prepared for the first races that are looming up, I all too often read that people are having a terrible time with losses with their young birds, I know that the hawks are terrorising our pigeons every day, which leaves a lot of them diving for cover and then they end up spending time out before hopefully making their way home, I also think it’s such a busy time in the sky’s at the moment with inexperienced pigeons , these two factors alone must have a big impact on the losses people are seeing, they are babies let’s not forget and they have to learn somehow, I’m just shocked with the amount of young birds that are being lost now , I’m sure in writing that the RPRA one loft race has had a massive hit with only seeming to be 900 birds being trained from the initial 1400 that started the season only a couple of months ago., which is terrible… where do they all go , for those that are braving the perils daily to train your birds  I wish you all the very best of luck with them , keep smiling and think positive with them,  now  to the results.
