It has been 10 years since the introduction of Leo Heremans and Van den Bulks from Mick Collins and Trevor Taylor into this lofts breeding program. These birds have produced

winners at club, federation, and section levels for both this loft and others throughout the UK. They have also achieved results in the Up North Combine, including a Gold Medal with

1st Up North Combine Arras in 2024 and three silver medals in previous seasons.

In 2025, the birds continued to achieve high level results, with various fanciers reporting notable wins with stock originating from this loft. The North East Counties Federation is

recognised for its competitiveness within the Up North Combine; achieving third highest prizewinner is significant, particularly given my focus on other professional commitments

aside from pigeon racing.

The breeding loft is populated mainly by birds that are proven racers and breeders. For 2025, there are 21 young birds available for sale, 12 of which are either direct children of or

half-brother/sister to 1st or 2nd Up North Combine winners—rarely do you see this in auctions.

Introductions into our loft are few and far between however when we do we aim to select well. Last year we introduced "MR AYRE", bred by Mark Walker. Mr Ayre, a section winner

himself is the sire of "RYHOPE ROCKET" who won 3 x 1st Section 4, 2nd Up North Combine, 10th Up North Combine, 22nd Up North Combine being bird of the year in the Up North Combine 2023.

"MR AYRE" is also G.Sire to a young hen bred by Mick that won 1st and 2nd section 4 as a young bird for us this year being beaten over the pad by a loft mate stopping her winning 2 x
